Management Biographies


Kevin Dickens

Kevin is a founder of Choice One Communications (now One Communications), an integrated service provider, with 2005 revenues of over $320 million and EBITDA exceeding $50M.  As COO, he was responsible for Choice One's traditional business operations, emerging technologies and strategic planning.

Immediately prior to Choice One, Kevin was the President and Chief Executive Officer of ACC TelEnterprises, Ltd in Toronto, Canada. There he led the national telecom provider through acquisitions by both TCG and AT&T.

Kevin has been in the telecommunications industry since 1988 when he joined Frontier Corporation. While at Frontier, he held progressively senior, and varied, positions culminating in the leadership of the company’s engineering and network evolution to a national provider.

Steve Dubnik

Steve is also a founder of Choice One Communications.  He was CEO of the company from its beginning in 1998 until his departure in 2005.

He has worked in the telecommunications industry since 1984 and spent the first 10 years of his career with Frontier Communications before moving to ACC Corporation in 1994 to become Chairman and CEO of ACC TelEnterprises in Canada.

After ACC Corp repurchased the public equity stub of ACC TelEnterprises, Steve became the COO for ACC Corp in North America. Following the acquisition of ACC Corp by TCG, Steve left ACC to found Choice One Communications.
